So true :)
So true :)
I still think about you every now and then. Today was one of those days where I really missed you
So inspirational :)

Last weekend was a blast! M and I made a spontaneous trip to Sydney :) Being the last weekend before Uni starts, we had to make the most of it. So after work on Saturday afternoon, I went home; packed, picked up M, and off we went to the airport!
Our 2 day was really more of a mission to taste test the best of Sydney. We did our research and planned out all the restaurants that we were going to visit. Surprisingly, we were really efficient and didn’t only try every place that was on our list, but even visited some places twice, and tried other places as well. I won’t blog too much about the actual foods we ate here, as its on my other ‘foodie blog’- so check that one out if you want to hear more about my massive appetite :P haha.
We’re currently in July and so far, I have traveled three times this year. I really am a lucky girl! Having had the year off uni and working a full time job that has super flexible hours has allowed me to really enjoy my freedom, and given time to myself to do whatever I want, whenever i want. And while I spent the last year just having fun and being carefree, I do also feel like I’ve ‘grown up’ quite a bit and become more independent. I didn’t realise until now how much I needed this time to just develop as a person and see the ‘bigger world’ if that’s what you call it. And while I may been a bigmassive spender, at least I have made the most of my year off. I am going to start saving more seriously when uni starts again…which is tomorrow :)
I can’t believe how quickly two semesters have gone by. It felt like yesterday that I handed in my ‘application for intermission’ and now tonight, I’m packing my bag for Uni tomorrow. I’m pretty excited, but also kinda nervous- i don’t even remember what it feels like to sit in a lecture or study!! But hey, its back to reality, and this time I’m ready to knuckle down and get this degree done! (I’ve even done my stationary shopping- I hope this gets me better grades, or at least motivates me to study harder :P )

hehe :)

I’m getting my training and fitness back on track! It’s been on and off lately due to lack of time, but this time I’m making time to hit the gym and go for my runs at least 4-5 times (I’m hoping!) a week. Did a training sesh with new PTM Andy this morning, Olympic lifting :) Something (other than deads) that I haven’t done since early this year. Cleans, and snatches…yea I’m going to sore tomorrow!
On another note, M and I are hitting up Sydney this weekend. Sooo excited! We’ve made a list of all the restaurants we want to try, and at our rate, we will get diabetes by the end of the trip lol. We’re staying near Darling Harbour, mainly so I can go for morning runs around the harbour… nice view, fresh air, hopefully some sun, I.cannot.wait!!!
Today is a new beginning. I’ve finally made the decision to let go of a little bird from the past. Should have a long time ago, but I guess today I’m finally ready.
We shared a great collection of memories which ill keep for years to come.
Bye bye. Thank you for everything and good luck in all your life adventures little bird!!
As for myself, I will continue to stay positive and keep smiling! :)
